Yes! They don't tell you what the engine is though to avoid licensing issues, but if you take a look at the engine specs you can figure out what it is. You can put a flat six from a 997 911 Turbo in a BRZ, for example.

If I recall correctly, it doesn't say anything at all. It lists the stats for displacement, horsepower, and torque, however, which matches the 2002 Camaro in the game.
